Scented Birdie Returns & Exchange Policy

At Scented Birdie, we pride the quality and craftsmanship of our premium fragrance products. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are entitled to cancel your order and return your items within 14 days of receiving your goods, without needing to provide a reason.

To be eligible for a return under this cooling-off period, your item must be unused, unopened, and in the exact same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all seals intact. Because our products are consumable fragrances, we cannot accept returns of diffusers, perfumes, or air fresheners that have been opened, sprayed, or used due to hygiene and quality control reasons.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please email us at info@scentedbirdie.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order, providing your name, order number, and the items you wish to return. We will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package.

3. Return Shipping Costs

If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have specific rights if your product arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the description. Please contact us immediately at info@scentedbirdie.co.uk with your order number and photo evidence of the damage. In these cases, we will provide a full replacement or refund, and we will cover the cost of return shipping.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

Please note that original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item being returned is faulty or damaged.

 

6. Exchanges

We currently only replace items if they are defective or damaged in transit. If you wish to exchange an unused product for a different signature scent, you will need to return the original item for a refund and place a new order on our website.
